Power Possibilities with 400G High-Bandwidth Circuits

The need for higher bandwidth capacity continues to grow. From hyperscale data centers to large scale enterprises, more and more businesses are looking to expand their connectivity through 400 gig, or 400G, circuits.

Since then, the Midco team has expanded our fiber paths across North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Kansas in anticipation of the growing appetite for this type of connection. We’ve invested $500 million in our fiber networks, resulting in low latency for our customers. A recent test of the optical network from Spearfish, SD, to Chicago, IL, achieved less than 20 millisecond latency. We’ve also added crucial points-of-presence in Minneapolis, Omaha, Kansas City, Denver and Chicago.  

“Midco has become the go-to provider of choice because we have invested in the area and have proven we are able to handle the demand,” said Chatwell. “We currently have hundreds of 400G circuits under contract and many more in the pipeline and coming online soon, proving we can handle this on a large scale. When you need this type high-capacity service, you can’t risk it on an unknown entity.”
